January is off to an awesome start in Dylan Connor land.
One of the largest satellite television stations in the Arab world Al Arabiya played Dylan's video for Feza Feza a few times over the weekend. Calls and emails came in from people in Saudi Arabia to France to Michigan to Syria when they saw the segment. The funny thing is that it claims that Dylan is of Syrian descent while in fact he is an Irish lad if anything.
Tonight (Jan. 17) Dylan will be on WPKN radio 89.5 FM at 9pm playing and talking about his upcoming Jan. 29 fundraiser for Syria at the Living Room in NYC. Stream it live here.
News of Dylan's NYC Syria Benefit is also getting national attention. Here is a link to an article in the Sacramento Bee, one of Northern California's biggest papers.

Dylan's song Feza Feza has received over 5000 views and 500 hundred comments from Syrians around the world in just a few weeks. Watch the updated video with Arabic subtitles and portraits of the martyrs and donate a dollar to Syrian relief by buying the single. More to come about a benefit show in January in NYC.

I am proud to announce a new song and video. It is called Feza Feza which is a rally cry used in the Syrian Revolution. The song documents the early days of the uprising and eyewitness accounts from my family who live in the city of Deraa where the uprising began.
Thanks to Merritt Jacob for recording the song and to Manny Santiago for filming and editing the video.

With the funds raised, Primitive Times will be mastered, pressed, and released with a robust Publicity and Radio campaign. Of course, I will make it my duty to play a slew of shows to promote and celebrate the new record. Thank you Everyone. Now let the fun begin.
